Community

Our community is home to some of the best events and most breathtaking scenery in the United States!  We love our community, and serving and supporting it is part of our mission.  We don’t do it because we have to, we do it because we want to and it is who we are.

 

The following are links to some of the special events in our area.  Check them out and see what our community can offer you.  You won’t regret it.

 

National Cornbread Festival – Cornbread and it’s best friend, cast iron, are celebrated in this festival held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee on the last full weekend in April featuring cornbread cook-offs, music, crafts, a carnival, a road race, and a tour of historic homes.

 

Ketner’s Mill Country Fair –  This event is held each October on the banks of the Sequatchie River at the last remaining water-powered mill in the Sequatchie Valley and features all the fun of an old-fashioned country fair including music, crafts, food, wagon rides, canoeing, sorghum making, demonstrations, and tours of the mill.

 

Siege at Bridgeport –  Bridgeport, Alabama’s importance as a shipping center during the Civil War is the theme of this event held on the fourth weekend of March each year.

 

Bonnaroo – The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an annual four-day music festival held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee

 

Four Bridges Art Festival – The 4 Bridges Arts Festival, presented each year by the Association for Visual Arts (AVA), exists to support the advancement of original visual art and the artists who create it; to bring the ideas, materials, methods, and work of artists to downtown Chattanooga – a setting accessible to diverse local audiences and tourists.

 

Valley Fest –  Valley Fest is a hometown spring festival in  downtown Dunlap.  You’ll find great music, great food, a car show and a kids area.  There is something for everyone to enjoy.
